If I had the oppertunity to redesign a product on the market and improve it, making it vastly more productive, I would redesign the bissle. I work in a resturant and one of the tasks we’re always requested to do is clean the floors using a Bissell. Doesn’t necessarily sound like too horrible of a task until you account for the fact that the things simply do a horrible job at picking up crumbs and messes from the floor. In order for you one to pick up a single cheerio it will take about seven or more time of running it over with the Bissell to pick it up. A better designed Bissell would be much more time efficient. It would also be able to clean floors in a vastly more efficient manor than the ones that are used today. By saving time and being more efficient it would increase the restaurants productivity greatly by giving employees more time to focus on more important tasks such as customer service.
